Lower than 3.2 GPA Acceptance

Just wondering, does anyone around her got accepted to any UC's with lower than 3.2 GPA. I just want to see and hopefully hope that some people could still have a chance :).

Look in the UCD acceptance threads and you’ll see people with 2.8 GPAs got in.

With GPA around 3.0~3.2, you still always have hope for few of the UC like Riverside, Davis, and even Irvine! As the above poster said, few of the applicants got into UCD with GPA around 2.8.

My friend got into ucla with 3.2

i think it entirely based on what major you applied as or how lucky you get. My friend got in to la with a 3.3 but his ec was off the chart making him stand out as a unqiue. On the otherhand i dont think i’ve seen anyone with less than a 3.8 for compsci so far get in.

Really hope to see more :expressionless: If I get anything, I’ll definitely post.

I have a 3.08 gpa, got accepted to ucr, ucsc, and ucd, rejected to ucla, ucsd, and waiting for ucsb and uci

I got into UCLA with a 3.0

Niceeee musafer. What major?

And for the record I’m actually 3.2 with 6 units from CC that would even out to a 3.3

i got in UCR with 3.28

I got into UCD english major with a 3.1 they calculated my coursework from CSULA AND CC! I was shocked. i love uc davis!

I got into UCR as a Highschool senior with 3.04 a few years ago. Seeing as the average admit at the time was like 3.5 I felt pretty proud.

^CosmicBubble I’m so jealous ! I really regret not applying to Davis
