I want to go to uMiami and i was wondering if i should apply early action rather that regular because the acceptance is slightly higer that the rate of regular. does anyone know what is teh acceptance rate of early action and that the lowest GPA, SAT , and ACT scores that were accepted with early action? also i am taking AP Bio and AP Chem next year too, would that increase my odds if i apply early action?

You will never find any statistics for that. All you will find is the total acceptance rate, which was around 38% last time.
ACT: 27-32 (but these are based off superscores, so keep that in mind)
GPA: Average Unweighted: 3.7. Average Weighted: 4.2

Don’t fret too much about the weighted; some schools weight on a 5 or even 6 point scale for many of their classes, which drives up the average.

Taking the AP classes makes your senior schedule look good. Hopefully, though, you can do well in them incase you are defered.

Also, there is more money in early action, so definitely apply in that.

Here is a link to this year’s EA results thread.

USNews lists UM’s acceptance rates as ED-27%, EA-54%, RD-30%.
