I found out today that Ive been deferred from UM. I am an early action applicant with a 27 ACT score and a 3.58 weighted GPA, not including my first semester senior year. I have a high amount of extracurricular and volunteer activities.
I was wondering what my chances of getting accepted to UM are. I received a 4.0 (weighted) and 3.8 (unweighted) GPA this semester of my senior year. Also, I have another letter of recommendation to submit to UM in addition to the 2 letters I submitted when originally applying.
Do most UM differed early action applicants get accepted in the regular decision pool? What can I do to increase my chances of being admitted, and most importantly, do you think Ill get accepted? Thanks!

What’s your safety?

Indiana University, CU Boulder, and hopefully Wisconsin or UT Austin.

U Miami: Match/Low Reach
Your ACT is low but you cant do anythig about that now so keep your grades up for now and get some more volunteering hours. Good Luck!

Aw, I still haven’t heard back :/. Good luck though!
