Yes, I know that they look at more than just grades however I also know that almost all, if not everyone, of the readers look at the transcript first. So I am wondering do you think they is even a chance for someone with Ds on their transcript? And yes I know there is no official cut off gpa but if someone has multiple Fs all over their transcript its safe to assume they can't get in.

Ask a lacrosse player :P

Other than someone in lacrosse

I don’t think you should worry if you have Ds or Fs or watever grades you go. But, I think its important to know that you are not a letter nor are you numbers. I think for any college they look at the entire individual and not just something on a piece of paper. Give yourself more credit than you think. I didn’t do too great on my grades but did awesome on my essay, recs, and extracurricular. Its all how you portray yourself.

GOOD LUCK! (I’m an ED applicant and I’m feeling the same thing you are but im trying to get over it)

^Wow…that was really awesome/nice advice.

I really hope you get into JHU. I plan to apply ED next year too :)

Heh Shiroto, in the same exact boat. I feel I am absolutely more than able to attend and succeed at John’s Hopkins. My parents seemed content enough with my B’s and C’s so I never pushed enough as to fearing it would impact my “down” time. Too bad now aha.

Hopefully my essays make a phenomenal impact, otherwise who knows…

Best of luck!
