<p>My son has been admitted to both of the above schools with about the same scholarship offer to both. He is interested in studying computer science or maybe physics. While I know these are not the typical schools people choose for these majors, he wants a smaller school and sees the benefits of a liberal arts education. We've visited both schools twice and are starting to get a feel for them, but would appreciate others' input. Does anyone have experience with the comp sci program at either of these schools?</p>
<p>My DS is a sophomore in the Honors Program and loves Loyola. Loyola’s BS in Computer Science is ABET accredited. The program also is approved by the The Seoul Accord. According to ABET “Signatories to the Seoul Accord are organizations responsible for accrediting computing and IT-related programs in Australia, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States”.
I know folks who sent children to both schools that were happy with their choices.
