LS 2 with Ezzeddine

Im takin ls 2 with ezzeddine this summer. anyone takin this professor before? I know ezzeddine taught ls 2 this spring. any input would be great, thanks.

bump.........

do you know anything about cassano for ls1 during the summer?

from what i heard, ezzeddine requires a lot of memorization. i think i heard some of my friends saying that they had to memorize amino acids. ill be taking him for the summer as well.

no..i am talking about cassano not ezzedine..this is for session c

yeah i know...

it was for bruinboy...

would i be able to borrow someone's life science book for session 3....i took life science 2 winter quarter and bought the book...but it turns out a new edition came out..i am willing to pay like 30 bucks just to borrow it......or i could buy it depending on the price

k ill respond cuz i feel bad for bruinboy since alexinorbit completely hijacked the thread. i took him for spring LS2. He is really nice and remembers your name if you meet him just once. As far as grading goes, it is your typical LS class. His midterms are multiple choice and essay and final is all multiple choice. The mean is usually in the 60's and to get an A-, you need a standard deviation above which he usually makes to be from mid to high 70's.

btw alexinorbit you should probably make ur own thread...

thank you for your timely and wise advice......011234832......what could we do without you?

thanks guys

Does anyone by any chance have a final, or practice final I can leech off of for Ezzeddine's, purty please? :DDDD

The curve for our class skyrocketed because a few people had a copy of the old midterms. There isn't really much of a chance I can get an A or a steady B, but I'll keep trying!!!

Considering that Ezzedine doesn't even let one single exam escape into the wild... good luck with that. (I mean, you're gonna have to resort to like cell phone camera captures of them. lol)

do any of u guys record lectures? is it worth it to buy a recorder for lectures?

arent all ls classes taped, or most of them?

Recorders aren't too useful unless the class is particularly suited for it, i.e., exams (mostly) based on lecture presented in PowerPoint. Otherwise, it's just gonna be a hassle because the prof is all over the place and you're not gonna find time to go through it.

how'd u guys do?

is there a ucla website where one can look up specific lectures and see and/or hear them?

How about waiting for the first week of school? http://www.oid.ucla.edu/webcasts/courses/ is what I've found. Never used one myself though.
