Esdin vs. Phelan LS2

Hi all,
I'm taking LS2 winter 11 and debating between taking Esdin or Phelan.
I've read the Bruinwalk reviews but I'm still conflicted.

I am looking to get feedback on these specific questions from students who have taken this course with either professor.

How to get an A in their class

Advice about each professor's testing style

Can you please scan a midterm you took and forwarding it to me? (I'd like to get an idea of how they test us.)

If you have a friend who is also taking it winter quarter, I am looking for study partners who are serious about getting an A in this class.

**If you personally can answer any one of these questions, I would be greatly appreciative.
**If you know someone who has already taken this class, please forward this post to them so they can give accurate feedback.

Thank you so much everyone and Happy Holidays!
:)

Study beforehand and after each lecture, ask questions in class, and go to office hours.

Life science department don’t let students have their exams.

If you took AP bio and did well, it’s not that bad. I for one slept through class and did well on the exams without learning much new material.

Attempts to procure LS past exams will result in exterminatus of perpetrator.

You can ask for past labs from people, though.

Bah. I’m taking it with Esdin simply because time will allow me to. We’ll wing it.
