Hey! I just want to know the level of difficulty of LS2. I took LS1 and it was horrible. I plan on taking 14CL, LS2, and PSYCH 100A. How many science/math courses a pre-med student normally take in a quarter? I am afraid it will be too much work and I don't want my GPA to drop:(. Help?

I thought LS2 was suuuper easy. I hadn’t taken any other LS class beforehand, though. I had it with Schein <3.

LS2 is very manageable as far as getting an A is concerned. There’s just a lot of reading and time you need to put into it, but the results are not variable. You put in the time - you’ll get the grade.

@dcheong, LS2 is very competitive class. It offers peer tutoring that you can sign up. It has midterm exam 2 review and final review done by TAs. Exam1 review was in class by the professor. He gave the sample questions and answers before exam 1. I took it with other three classes. One of them is chem. I think your course load should be fine, though your 14C is Organic Chemistry.

@xxCollegesxx: oppos, I made a mistake, I meant to put 14BL…haha. Were the three other class all science/math courses? Can you list them so I can get a feeling of what I should take? thanks!

No comparison! Okay? :] One of my classes was 14B. Your class load should be manageable and fine.
