LSAT helpppppp!!

I have recently started practicing and studying for the September LSAT a few weeks ago. I am also taking the princeton review LSAT course starting this month.

I do well in the "games" section (20/24) but I do very poorly in the "arguments" and "reading" comprehension section. Any advice on how to improve these scores beside just taking the LSAT prep course?? My biggest problem is I sometimes don't understand the words, therefore I do not understand the question being asked! I am a UCLA student and I want to get at least a 168 so that I can go to a decent law school. :)

Any advice???

Well if you were in high school or a freshman I would say read more. At this point, try to learn the terminology, and keep using practice books and doing practice problems.

Having tutored for the LSAT, my experience has been that the games and arguments are both very teachable. Reading comp not so much. If vocabulary is your issue, you might consider supplementing your LSAT prep with some vocab building exercises. There are plenty out there. Check out some GRE resources if you’re having trouble finding them.

Good luck!
