Hey everyone,

I just checked LSE's course availability and my first choice program has "closed." However, my application is still "under consideration" on the status tracker (since mid feb).

Does this mean that I have been rejected?

If anyone has any experience or input, I'd appreciate it...

I find the UK system very confusing and weird…with the whole UCAS. Anyway, I applied to LSE’s international relations program on the very last day (January 15th). I got an email from them saying that they have received my application and it’s currently under “consideration.” A week later, I sent my qualifications (transcript) and I got REJECTED half an hour after they sent me an email saying that they received it.
I’m guessing that the program was full…and yes, I think you’re instantly rejected because there are no longer spots available
LSE is focused more on graduate studies…and maybe you can apply when you graduate from college.

I think it just means they’ve stopped accepting more applicants because they’ve got too many. If you applied before the January deadline, you should be fine and they’re probably REALLY still considering you. Heard from my friends that LSE is rather slow in replying this year for certain majors… Don’t lose all hope just yet. (: And actually, I personally find UCAS easier than US applications. Haha.

Many thanks for your responses.

But, there is no deadline since it’s a rolling admissions system…

So I have submitted my complete application around mid feb and the programme I applied for has closed one month later…

But my application is still underconsideration !

I really do not understand…

“randompiglet” I am sorry you got rejected, but I 've heard that the MA in International Relations is the most popular (it has closed in january, isn’t?)
