Initially, there was no separated applications in Common App. Everyone submitted applications early enough would be considered for university-level merit-scholarships, including STAMPS. Now since the STAMPS finalists have been decided, and my D was not chosen, she received another email inviting her to apply for 3 other college/department scholarships. They are due 03/15 but we have not completed yet. Those applications are in a separated portal provided by that invitation email. My D is so tired of writing essays after applying for 23 colleges and I am not sure if she still has strength left to write more.

I only saw previous years STAMPS scholars posted by LSU, not this year.
Based on the timeline in #79 above, whoever not notified by now is surely not selected for STAMPS.

When does LSU release financial aid and merit? Is this also on a rolling basis?

My son and 3 classmates still have not heard a decision on acceptance, applied late fall/early winter. Does anyone know when the next round of decisions will be released?
I’ve been accepted, have a 3.5 GPA and a 26 ACT. I was told that I won’t be receiving any merit scholarship. Anyone else with similar stats?
LSU was the first school.we heard from regarding merit…maybe Jan/early Feb.
My daughter also got a talent award (music) which came apx 3 weeks ago.

LSU is doing rolling admission so you should not have waited this long. I think you need to contact AO. My D got an admission 2 days after submitting the application last Nov.
Without any email/text notice, I just saw the awards in my D’s portal increased by $1000. So exciting! I am going to celebrate it by eating some crawfish.

I have been living in Baton Rouge for 20+ years and I know someone in LSU could be sloppy.

i called and they say what they always say: “90% of our applicants hear my the end of march”
Okay, at least they will release by April, same as many other colleges.
Son received acceptance today. No mention of any merit or financial aid. Did others receive this info with their acceptance? If not, does anyone know when such awards will be announced?
Check his portal in a couple of days. My D got awards shown in her portal but not being noticed.

Merit awards came along after the acceptance. My daughter got acceptance in mid December, I believe. Merit Award came sometime in late January I believe.
