<p>no, im saying eventually :stuck_out_tongue: sill sillies…</p>

<p>@gonnastop, the 500 was someone’s estimation. </p>

<p>There were 120+ apps for 10 boarding 10th grade boy spots.
So then there would be X apps for Q 10th grade day boy spots.
And Y apps for R 10th grade boarding girl spots.
And Z apps for S 10th grade day girl spots.</p>

<p>Honestly, I don’t know if we’ll ever get an answer. I would recommend that you email someone in the admissions office and just ask how many applicants there usually are for the sophomore class. [pm me and I’ll give you a person, unless you already have a person? i don’t remember if i got the email of anyone in the admissions office when I applied, but you should be able to find someone to answer your question without much hassle]</p>

<p>God, I am physched to go to MX. Havent been on this thing for a while. I read the last few pages of posts, and I am just putting it out there, that I did get ripped on by a few friends for the name of the school that I was going to, but they were all envious that I got into such a good school. :)</p>

<p>Though MX wasnt my first choice, it was St. Paul’s and Hotchkiss before Middlesex, but I am still excited about going.</p>

<p>Wasnt too excited with the school mailing me a letter about the summer reading though… :(</p>

<p>And I am very suprised I got into MX as an international student in the sophomore year. I dont have straight A’s by the way, and I dont see why Middlesex would recruit me for any sports. The only sport I am really good at is water polo, and they dont hav a swimming pool at MX, a bit dissapointing, but I hope the people there would make up for it.
Maybe they think I will fit well there.</p>

<p>A quick question, what dorms are there, and which ones are the most popular choices?? just wondering, not like i m gonna be able to chose anyways.</p>

<p>Glad you’re excited! You’re gonna be class of 2013!?!?</p>

<p>Girls’ Dorms:
-Hallowell: I lived in Hallowell this year. It’s somewhat old, but it was renovated a few years ago, so it doesn’t have the problems that a lot of old dorms have. Medium sized, pretty nice, near the side of Eliot, the library, and the theatre. Great view of the circle [in most rooms]!
-Peabody: I kinda want to be in Peabody this year. It’s very small and old, and there aren’t any freshmen, but it’s an awesome location [between Ware and Eliot, so basically the closest to everything], and I don’t mind the oldness.
-Kravis: The newest dorm, very nice though only close to Ware and the Athletic Center. View is okay [fields on one side, courtyard/Atkins/back of Ware on the other]. Kravis is another dorm that I want to be in - it’s just so nice!
-LB: LB is next to the Chapel. It sucks. It has all the problems of an old dorm [smell, small, dark, old, creaky, etc.] without the benefits of location, though if you’re in the right room you have a good view of the circle. If you request a double and you end up in LB, you’re set because the sophomore double in LB is SICK [in a good way… it’s huge…].
-Higginson: The largest girls’ dorm by far. Lovely views of Hig Lawn [rolling greenery, giant tree…]. Nice dorm, though far away from everything [except for the docks and 2 boys dorms ;)].</p>

<p>yeah…hope that helps!</p>

<p>Lol, ummm…that didnt really help because I am not a girl…
And yeah i m gonna be in class of 2013.</p>

<p>What about the guy dorms?</p>

<p>oooooh sorry! I just though Brookie referred to the name Brooke or something… my b…</p>

<p>mk, boys’ dorms:
Atkins: Definitely the best as far as facilities go, but the dorm head is very strict and Atkins residents have a propensity for being caught [though they don’t do anything that boys in other dorms don’t do]. Atkins is okay, as far as spirit goes. View is of Kravis, the back of ware, and the athletic center… yeah…
RW: By far the most fun dorm there is. Immature, irreverent, and generallly awesome [from what I’ve heard]. Easy to get away with things. View of the circle or the fields, depending on the room. Between Ware Hall and the Chapel. Older dorm, so be prepared.
Clay: The seedy underbelly of middlesex… haha… Clay has a reputation for housing jocks/popular people. Most of what “goes on” happens in Clay, but people are rarely caught. Generally pretty fun… I mean, everyone in Clay has a lot of dorm pride. Interior is $h¡††¥, think white-painted cinderblock. Views of: the woods and the pond/trees/whatever. Very far away from everything…
BP: Views of the woods/the road/Hig. Between Hallowell and Clay. Renovated more recently, so the interior is similar to Atkins, Higginson and Hallowell. Idk much more about BP… pretty good dorm spirit I suppose, though not much of a personality?</p>

<p>lol, thx.
My username is based on the name of the school I just left.</p>
