M&T Applicants (Past and Present) Interview Experience

To anyone who applied to the M&T program, how do you feel your interview went? It seemed to me that this interview weighs more than most others. I was asked some tough questions over different business and engineering topics, so naturally I wondered how important this interview actually is. Any thoughts as to how M&T interviews may be weighed more heavily than general Penn/Ivy interviews?

Also, who were you interviewed by? Local alumni? I had a skype interview and found it unusual because there are plenty of M&T alumni in my area.

The interview might be more important, relative to regular admissions, since the admission pool is so small, but I haven’t seen any evidence, statistical or even circumstantial, to support or refute that claim.

I was interviewed by an M&T alumnus from just a few years ago. It proceeded like any normal college interview with the typical questions asked.

@Nihilus Yeah, some circumstantial evidence would be pretty sweet. What was weird about my interview was that there are several M&T alumni interviewers in this region, but I was assigned a skype interview. Turns out that the guy is on this

M&T executive board. Hoping this is a good sign… Has this happened to anyone else?
