<p>Don’t worry about admit rate. Admit rate does not equal difficulty. The key to getting into dual degree programs is being A GOOD FIT. Don’t just apply to one for the prestige or because they sound cool; only do it if you’re truly passionate about the subjects. M&T is intense btw; avg GPA in engineering is generally below 3.0…</p>

<p>As for “preferential treatment” for applying to M&T and then Wharton, at the Wharton information session we were told that if you are denied for M&T and reviewed for Wharton, the Adcoms at Wharton have no idea you ever applied to M&T.</p>
