Which one is common on campus. If it is PC what type and if it is Mac what type. Thanks
My son is a sophomore in the business school. He has a Mac Book Pro and loves it. Apple has a support desk at the bookstore and has been very helpful to him. I think it really is personal preference and budget.
if you are going to buy a computer, and don’t live in Delaware, wait till you get there to buy one. No sales tax in DE.
They use more PCs than Macs, but either is accepted. It depends on what OS you prefer. Lenovo,HP,Dell,Asus, & Acer are all good PC brands.
If price isn’t an issue, the Dell XPS 13 & The Macbook Air 13" are good choices.
If you want a better value, the Acer Aspire R14, Aspire S 13, & Lenovo Yoga 710 are good
If you’re on a budget, the Dell Inspiron 3000 & Lenovo G80-70 are good
Windows-Hardware Compatibility,Software Compatibility,Most Common

Buy it from Delaware, as there’s no sales tax.
Rising soph. Daughter has MBP and it works fine. The one time she needed help, the tech support folks were very helpful to her. As people above note, it’s really up to your preferences.
daughter that just graduated business school had a mac and no issues. however she did have a few required computer classes and those classes were not mac supported so she used her surface for that class… Son is a rising Jr in the business school and he has used his PC for everything. hope this helps.
