Mac vs. SUNY Binghamton?

Bizarre sounding choice, I know. Visited both and didn't get a great vibe at either (don't get me wrong they're both fabulous schools - just didn't seem good for me) and they're literally my only options. I'm on a waitlist at one of my top choices but need to send a deposit in somewhere. I come from a small, all-girls private school in NYC, want to study English and dance (ballet) while in college.
Thanks in advance :)

Are you out of your mind? Go to Mac. There is absolutely NOTHING to do in Binghamton, and the Arts Scene in the twin cities is fab. There is so much theater, dance, music etc.
Believe me, while the Twin Cities may seem like a wasteland to a NYer, take it from one who spent 3 very happy years there, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the warmth of Midwesterners, and the range of activities there. And Mac is a GREAT school.

I swear you won’t be sorry.

Yeah, as a New Yorker, I must say Macalester. All the way.

Are you New York resident? If money is an issue, you should go to SUNY Binghamton. That is like more than half time cheaper. Mac is great. But if you cannot afford it, then SUNY Binghamton is an good alternative.
