I’ve recently received acceptance from Macaulay Baruch, and is still waiting for the decision from Fordham at rose hill. I want to major in business and eventually transfer to NYU, Cornell, or Columbia to finish undergrad. I’ve read many forums and talked to students from macaulay and asked them of their experiences, though they all have been helpful, I’m still somewhat concerned about macaulay’s environment since it’s within a CUNY. Though macaulay itself receives sufficient funding, the CUNY itself may not have sufficient funding like fordham does. Disregarding the obvisous financial advantage that macaulay has over fordham, I’m not really sure which school is better if I’m to transfer, keeping in mind that the transfer may not work out.

I don’t think you can really disregard the financial advantage? Why would you pay $50,000+ when you could pay $0? I would only consider paying that kind of money if it was for a really, really exceptional school, which Fordham just isn’t. Baruch is a good school, and Macaulay is an incredible program. I think there’s a pretty clear answer here.
