Macbook Pro 15in fit for UCLA desk?

I'm deciding between a 13' vs 15' Macbook Pro and was wondering how well do each fit for UCLA space wise. I don't want a laptop that is so big that i don't have any desk space. Can anyone who has one tell me how their 15' and 13' are for portability and desk space?

I have a 15" and it fits pretty well on my desk. I even have a printer and lamp on my desk and they all fit in the back half of my desk at one time and I still have the front half for books, paper, etc. when I am studying with those.

I think he’s referring to the desks in the classroom, not the dorm.

The “desks” in lecture halls are ridiculously tiny. They’re like airplane tray tables.

Smaller than that in many lecture rooms.

If he’s referring to the dorms, there’s plenty of space for any laptop.

If he’s referring to lecture halls, any laptop will take up the entire desk in most rooms. In a few rooms, the desks will have plenty of space for any laptop.

Oh! Sorry for not clarifying.
I meant the dorm desk.

So they really do fit well? I’m deciding between a 13’’ and 15’’ and since the desks looked pretty small on dorm videos i couldn’t decide.

Thank you!

The desks are about 2’ by 3’4", or 3’ by 3’4" if you use the extension at the back. There’s plenty of space for a desktop computer.

I used a 30 inch monitor in the dorms. It all fit fine.
