for the teacher rec and counselor rec, do i put exactly like it shows on the teacher rec mail including the phone number, fax number, website, and email on my mailing envelop?

or does it even matter.

I must say that I am not 100% sure what you are asking, so I hope the answer I provide is what you are looking for...

There are a few ways we recommend students submit recommendations:

(1) Have all recommendations included in the portion of the application officially sent by your school (i.e. transcript, school report, etc.). This is the best method.

(2) Collect all your recommendations in sealed envelopes with the teacher/counselor signature across the seal so we know that they are official. You may then submit these envelopes with any application materials you are sending in. This is our second preference.

(3) Have the recommendations sent directly by the teacher and/or counselor. Make sure they include your full name, birth date, and high school in the recommendation so that we can match it with your other application materials.

hmm... my question is that I noticed the address shown on the mailing adress is extremely long (hmm around 8 lines). do i have to include all 8 lines?

Sorry but i have a quick question. I know it probably says it somewhere but does Johns Hopkins require the teacher that gives you a recommendations to be and 11th or 12th grade teacher?

The address to send all application materials is:

Office of Undergraduate Admissions
Johns Hopkins University
140 Garland Hall
3400 N. Charles Street
Baltimore, MD 21218
(just five lines - not sure where you are getting 8 lines???)

As far as teacher recommendations we recommend that the teacher be a recent teacher (11th or 12th) but it is not a requirement.
