Recently I decided to study Supply Chain Management at MSU because I’m a high school senior in Michigan. Now I have to move to live in California. My priority in to study in a reputed university like UC but they don’t offer much in business major. So can someone help me to pick a good major please.
I’m an international student.
I like Chemistry and seriously suck at Physics ( Bio is okay).
I’m pretty good at Math. I’m in Calculus class with almost 4.00 GDP
I’m looking for a job with high wages (may be in high demand), flexible (I don’t want a desk job where i have to stick my eyes to the computer 24/7) , have opportunities to travel and work with many people.
Please help me T_T
Will you graduate from a high school in Michigan after attending high school in Michigan for at least three years?
If so, you may want to see if section II of https://reg.msu.edu/roinfo/notices/Residency.aspx applies to you for Michigan residency for tuition purposes.
Getting California residency for tuition purposes is quite difficult.
@ucbalumnus I just camt to the U.S. 1 year ago so i’m not eligible. I’m not worry about the tuition fee. What i’m really stress out right now is what major should i study…
Three UC’s offer a Business school: Riverside, Irvine and Berkeley. The rest of the UC’s offer Economics as related to Business. There are many other great schools to consider in California for Business besides the UC 's. USC, Cal poly SLO, San Diego State, Chapman University, Loyola Marymount to name a few. .Why does it have to be a UC? Do some research for more options.
Ironically, unless your family is very wealthy, you should be more worried about tuition than the major. You can always pick a major after you get to college and you have until the end of your sophomore year to declare. But what you can afford is going to be central in deciding where you go.
