Oftentimes at home and in public I have strong urges to move.

For example just now I got up in my room and had a sudden urge to shake around and snap my fingers. I don't have any issues in school regarding my behavior or my academics (repeat: no issues). I simply have some difficulty focusing on tasks because I'll need to get up and move. I often find myself snapping my fingers for no apparent reason. I often pace around when contemplating something. I have a habit of shaking my knees while sitting down on a chair, although I tend to control this in public.

Is there something wrong with me?

=l

I often have trouble focusing when I am forced to do something dull in class. I prefer having class discussions and doing engaging activities. When, for example, I am given 40 minutes to complete a dull worksheet that would take 15 minutes to do at max, I shut down and feel restless.

Oh and I have a strange habit of jumping steps on staircases... (aka skipping every second step by taking jumps)

Sorry about the stream of consciousness writing; I didn't really have time to construct a paragraph due my need to study for an exam.
