Major for Pharmacy School

Hello,
I have just been accepted to UCSD with a Neuroscience major, planning to attend a pharmacy school after I get my Bachelor's Degree. I am considering switching to a less demanding major such as Cognitive Science to receive a higher overall GPA for pharmacy school. Would this be a reasonable decision...or should I stick it out with the Neuroscience major? Also, if you know anything about the Cognitive Science classes at UCSD I would appreciate it. Are they more like a social science..reading, essay writing, discussions; or more like a typical science class...laboratories, lab reports, objective tests? Any insight on either of these would be great. Thanks.

I think they’re more practical in their stuff - I’d go with chemistry or one of it’s deviations personally but if you’re going for pure GPA go for it.

I agree with Taggart: if you’re doing pharmacy, the logical choice would be chemistry.
You could ask the advisor ar UCSD. I know for medical school, for example, they don’t care what your major is. Could possibly be the same case for Pharmacy school.
