major?? i dont know...

ok so i know my interests.. but i dont know how to mold them into a specific major/minor/whatever.

help? please?

i thought i could want to be a doctor. last summer i took a course on the science and art of integrative medicine at Duke (with the TIP program.) I absolutely loooved the material covered: acupucture, massage/aroma/hydro/music therapies and many other different sorts of therapies, homeopathy, herbalism, meditation..etc. So I thought maybe I could pursue something of that nature.
On the other hand I really love languages and cultures. And probably most of all, I love traveling.I don't want a job in an office all day, you know?

What careers involve a lot of traveling and cultural studies?
Or what could mesh all of the above together?
What major(s) should I consider?

All advice and comments are greatly appreciated :)

i have almost the same exact questions as you! right now i'm going in as a bio major but we'll see how that goes.

bump bump bump

If you want to travel and you love languages and culture you could try working with linguistical anthropology or archeology. You would be able to travel from site to site and work to help understand ancient cultures and their languages.

journalism. I personally LOVE traveling (want to spend a year living in europe after college), but you have 2 choices. 1. a job where you travel a lot or 2. a job that's needed everywhere so no matter where you go you'll find something to do.
