Major in Pre-Med or Biology and minor in dance at the Tisch?

Hi, My D is a competition dancer who loves to dance. She has already been accepted into the Summer Dance Intensive for High School Juniors at the Tisch. But she was also accepted into two medical summer programs as well in Boston and Baltimore. She Def is doing the dance program this summer but she is torn on what to do about college. My question is if she was to be accepted into NYU can she major in Biology or Pre-med and either double major or minor in dance at the Tisch at the same time? Can’t seem to find the answer anywhere. Also if it is possible does she have to be accepted into the Tisch program if she just minors? Any info would be greatlly appreciated!

My son is in the similar situation, ballet/contemporary dancer with strong academics. He wants to double major in BFA Dance and Biology. At the NYU audition he attended in LA a few weeks ago, he he asked about double major and was told there are 3% students who pursue double majors. Dance BFA is 3 years and 2 summers and the double majors usually take about 4 years. He also applied for USC BFA Dance and biology. USC encourage students to double major or pursue concurrent master’s degree. Both BFA programs are hard to get in. My son only attended dance summer intensives in high school. Hope this helps.
