Major requirement P/NP - grade memo

<p>I took math1b as P/NP and it's requirement for my major.
The advisor told me to get a memo from the instructor saying what grade I got instead of P if I took it as a letter grade.</p>

<p>In my case, if I get the memo to the advisor, will the grade for the class be included??</p>

<p>Does it affect my major gpa or my overall?</p>

<p>Anyone know?</p>

<p>I took a major class p/np before I knew it was going to be required. Basically, it’s just used for admission, for all other purposes, it’s just a P.</p>
