I wanna go to med school, but I don't want to be a premed major. I want to actually earn a undergraduate degree that i can actually get a jor with. Like, if i were going to Florida State Univ or Univ of FL, i already know that i would use nursing as a premed....anyone has any suggestions on what I should major in at Wake?

We don't have a pre-med major. You can declare that you are pre-med, and then you'll have access to the pre-med advisor, but you've actually got to major in something else. Typically, the major is one of the sciences (including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Health and Exercise Science) or math, but it's completely possible to be pre-med and get a major in, for example, philosophy.

I'm not completely familiar with what all different majors we have, but I don't think that we have many majors that are geared towards a specific job (for instance, we don't have a nursing major). However, Wake grads are, supposedly, highly competitive in most fields even though they've often majored in more general subjects.
