<p>In high school I wasn't the most popular or have a ton of friends but people generally liked me and I played varsity sports. I would say I'm friendly and athletic and can have a good time. I never really liked the whole "cliquey" attitude that is at my school which annoyed me a lot. I had friends who were the jock type and skateboard type but I never felt like I belong to a specific group. I grew up in NJ and felt the whole clique mentality comes from living where I'm from, but I know it can be anywhere in the US. I'm going to a school down south and I'm hoping that down there it'll be easier to make solid relationships than in NJ. It's not hard for me to make friends but the whole thing with the cliques made it hard to keep in touch with them, which sucks but hopefully that will be different considering I'm going to college with people who will probably be like me. How hard is it to make friends in college and is it like high school? I'm hoping for the best.</p>
