“never really been involved in anything serious” is a really good response.

TA - I never watched the original series, but George Glass was in the Very Brady Sequel.

As for making up girlfriends, a friend of my boyfriend’s came into school with a made-up girlfriend. Really shortly, everyone saw through it, and while it wasn’t disastrous, he still gets random a “Oh, how’s Ally?” now and then, followed by bouts of group laughter.

On another amusing note, my (very nerdy) boyfriend’s friends didn’t believe I was real at first. They went so far as to suggest that the picture of us was photoshopped.

“I have been in love with myself”

Ah, his name is George Glass! I don’t know where I got Bob/Bill from.

However, OP, if somebody catches you in your tale, you’ll probably be thought of as a bigger freak than if you just said you’re single.

If you did the latter, some of them might even try to hook you up.

We’re both right, hyperJulie.
Here is the plot summary of the episode where it happened: [The Brady Bunch: The Not-So-Ugly Duckling - TV.com](http://www.tv.com/the-not-so-ugly-duckling/episode/4900/summary.html)

It also happened in the movie though.

LMAO!

Man, I’ve never had a girlfriend either, but I’d never stoop that low. This is like Steve Carell in The 40 Year Old Virgin describing a woman’s breasts as a “bag of sand” to his male friends.

It’s stuff like this that gives virgins a bad name.

tell them you are gay

Don’t make up anything–that’s just so embarrassing, creepy, and pathetic, and if you’re caught you definitely won’t be getting a gf anytime soon.

Just don’t mention anything. Don’t ask don’t tell, right?

It sounds like you would like a girlfriend, so by all means tell people the truth so that your work friends will be on the look out for you. You engineering types are always trying to find solutions to the problem at hand. Just relax already!!! :D

Maybe he can date you

you slay me, ronpaul2012

lol, I’m just glad you took that lightly…

RonPaul/MittRomney: Check out a thread entitled incoming freshman on the U. of Florida site and after you read through send a post. We could use you over there to raise the level of discourse.

ooooooh, an invitation…

RonPaul/Mike Huckabee: Only a select few are deemed worthy.

“Just don’t mention anything. Don’t ask don’t tell, right?”

If nobody ask i definitely won’t say anything. My concern is if they do ask.

Its embarassing, i know…but you have to be honest…
dont rush about getting a girlfrnd…love will just come
when you least expect it…and when it comes, be sure not
to let it go…^.^

It’d be creepy as heck to make up a girlfriend. Why does it matter if you’ve never had a girlfriend? Especially for college guys these days, a relationship is often not the first thing on their minds. No one’s gonna judge you as long as you’re cool about it.

I just puked a little bit in my mouth.

No, if you want something, go get it. Don’t be the chump the lets life pass you by just waiting for something to magically happen.

why would u lie about such things? u’ll get one when ur time comes. lol that sounds stupid. but the ppl who matter wouldn’t and shouldn’t really care if u ever had a gf or not. :)
