Manhattan college

I’m looking into transferring to Manhattan college and majoring in communications. The program looks pretty good and better than the other schools I have looked into. However it’s so far away from home I live in North Carolina. I would be living home for the 1st time and going all the way to New York. Plus I will be all alone. I’m looking for a good school to study but I’m also able to have a fun time and live in an environment that’s far from slow life. Is it a good school, is it a good discussion to live home and go so far away. More importantly the people that know something about Manhattan college tell me what’s it’s like

Reread your question and ask yourself if communications is really your talent.

I had never heard of the school until last week when we were blessed with mailings from them. I worked in Manhattan for three years and never heard of it. Apparently it’s a legitimate college with a 66% acceptance rate and costs $48k per year. Do you really have that kind of cash? IMO it would be better to move to NYC after graduating from an affordable school. You can use the money you save for a couple of years rent.
