Manhattan School of Music pre college for very young students?

Hello, this is a parent of a 7yr old, who was accepted by MSM pre-college. We are wondering if there is a risk that our child would be one of the only few very young kids and may get lost in a shuffle without supporting/encouraging structure for young students. Our child is very musical and has good foundation, but far from a competitive prodigy type. Thank you so much for any input!
