I gotta agree with eagle. Maybe you shouldn't give up your day job right yet and head off as a comedian since you apparently are unable to recognize humor.

While we're feeling mordant, USNA, I've got to point out that "you apparently are" constitutes a split infinitive, which is simply poor grammar.

Geez.........Hornet, I got the biggest kick out of "I win". Kind of liked the lampooning.

That was a fun piece posted by the Administrator. Guess some thought you were disparaging.

Maybe "we" are feeling overly mordant. Since we are not speaking Latin, most modern scholars have no problem with a split infnitive.

Most, however, do insist on proper spelling.

Just kidding, this is becoming ridiculous. It seems ironic that a little bit of PDS has worked its way into this thread.

To quote zach: Sha-ZAM!!! :)

PS, nice having breakfast with ya this morning PETKO. ;) :)

Yes yes, hornet, optional breakfasts make my mornings so much more enjoyable. Nice dining with you too, of course. :)

In other news, I have a feeling I'm going to start using "Sha-ZAM!!!" in conversation. I like it. :D

Slowly but surely, it is catching on...

haha yessir eagle :)

I don't know what scares me more

Is it the word SHA-ZAM or that you actually have watched Gomer Pyle...I guess living in the rural south in a town based off of Mayberry (that is the truth our town and MT.Airy were the basis of the show)

Either way it gives me the shivers :D

For all that remember Gomer (Jim Nabors) is a huge military supporter :)

Surprise, surprise surprise!

sure, why he even joined the USMC after living in Mayberry

hehehehehe :D
