I need to minimize my study time for the exam since it’s coming up and since my teacher/class have not prepared me too well.

Are the maps important for scoring a 5? My prep book has maps every few pages… but it takes me forever to memorize (and retain) maps, and with the exam right around the corner and the fact that I have to learn the entire course, I’d really prefer not to study them if they’re not important.

well maps are not something that in and of themselves should be studied. I found every map on any released exams or the actual exam to be pretty straightforward if you know the general info surrounding it… Difficult for me were the picture questions (monuments, buildings, etc.) There was one of a building with spikes sticking out of it on one released practice and I got it wrong… there’s others like dome of the rock, that Ethiopian church carved into the ground, etc.
