Did others receive an email saying that all admissions decisions (except transfers) would be available on March 15?
If so, have you received any other messages regarding admissions?

yes and no (if you mean other messages from UC Santa Cruz).

Yea, I got that too. That was the only one I've received in a while.

Just curious. Do you think by this point they've already made the decisions?

Yea i also got the email

@GlueEater: yea, from what i've heard. they've made most of the decisions in feb. and they're still working on the "maybe" applicants.

So last year they sent out invites to receptions in nor cal and so cal about this time, which were sent to accepted students, so if they do it again this year and you get it (in the mail only), you'll know you're in!

I just got another email from UCSC telling me about March 15th and my account. This is about the third one I've gotten from UCSC. Good news? lol

i got 2 from them can u paste what u got here ? paste the letter haah

yea got the letter too

this letter?

UC Santa Cruz has been working hard these last few months to make the best decisions possible on our over 27,000 frosh applications. Thank you for your patience during this process.

In just a few days, we'll be releasing our admission decisions. Beginning at midnight on March 15 (Pacific Daylight Time), you will be able to view your decision on the MyUCSC portal at my.ucsc.edu.

If you are not admitted, I hope that you are able to take advantage of an offer of admission with another UC campus or other college or university. There will also be information in the portal on how to transfer to UC Santa Cruz in the future should you still wish to earn your degree from our campus.

If you are admitted, I hope that you will decide to join our remarkable community of scholars. You may use the portal to submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) and take the next step toward becoming a UC Santa Cruz student.

Your wait is nearly over, and again, we appreciate your patience.

I think it's going to be a little harder to get in this year because of the over-yield last year, but good luck to you all. I sooo wanted to be accepted to Santa Cruz last year and was so excited to get accepted. If you do, go on a tour and check out the banana slugs which are around the amphitheatre. They are pretty weird!

Yeah that's the letter I got.

doesss essay factors alot into the decision?? thanks

dunno .. kinda

is 3.21 gpa and 1370 sat 2 score, 1390 sat 1 and level 8th cm for piano kinda too low to get in ucsc???

this is really killing me now! i want to go to santa cruz so badly, it's my first choice. i am out of state, so it's even harder for me! hopefully since i am from hawaii and half Caucasian/ half Asian, the diversity card will help me. i have pretty decent stats, above average of the normal admit. if i get in i'll be the happiest man alive.

Right, because there are not enough asian and white people at UCSC lol

No offense, just a joke

if we got 3 letters does it mean somethinggg or is just normal haha XD

well, considering that whites out number asians by a fair amount at ucsc (unlike the other uc schools), a little more diversity never hurts mr. glue eater.
