A lot of colleges (in my case Stanford and Penn) want the CommonApp submitted by March 15, which is this Saturday. Does anyone know what time the application should be submitted by? As in, is it due on the night of the 15th, or is it due on Friday?

It depends where you are and where your school is!
For example, if you are in Northeast and applying to a californian school... than you can submit the application till 3:00 a.m. March 16th.

Trust me..I am from NY. I applied to Berkeley like 2:00 pm in the morning of December 1st. The application was due on November 30th but the application was set at Californian time!

this really is the worst time to have deadlines considering I think this is midterm/final week for most college students! But, hey I guess it's an added challenge!

But ya, Stanford is 3:00am EST, just got an email from them reminding me to submit... I assume most schools abide by their local timezone, but try and submit it early anyways.. I know its hard though, and I might be submitting last minute as well.

Will colleges (Penn in my case) mind if my ACT score and possibly a recommendation and my dean's form arrive a few days late? I got caught up in midterms and procrastination the past couple of weeks. The ACT score should be postmarked by the fifteenth, but I have no control over what the Dean's office does with my form.

I know the Penn site does say that they will only give out one warning for missing materials, which is somewhat of a comfort, but I just wanted to make sure.

i know brown said that any apps postmarked after the deadline were placed in a "late" pile, and were only read after all decisions had been made on the on-time applications

So these are not due tonight, but by 11:59pm on Saturday? Just making sure because I've had tons of stuff. The terminology used in this thread can be read many ways.
