***March 2016 SAT (US Only) Thread*** |New Redesigned SAT Discussion Thread

Concordance tables will be released Monday so we will know by then what will be a “good” score.

@class0f2017 Did the college board announce that?

Yes . They said concordance will be released Monday. When do scores get published normally for SAT… Midnight on release date or morning of release date?

Yep, anyone else have AP Bio that day?

Me @mathwizard786

Anybody else getting really nervous about their scores? This is my first SAT and I did really well on the PSAT so my expectations went up.

I’m somewhat nervous because I do not want to take the SAT or any college-entrance test again. I just wanna be in ~90 %tile range

Here’s the thing with the concordance tables, since the old SAT had a penalty for incorrect answers and the new one doesn’t, you are probably going to need (off-the-top-of-my-head) like a 1500 to be equivalent to a high 2100 - low 2200.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone find the mat no-calc hard?

@SuzyQ7 For the January 16 SAT, scores were apparently released shortly before 5am Eastern Time ( 4am Central, 2am Pacific).

@1601er They could easily cover that with a different curve.

I heard the May SAT was super easy :expressionless:

@Bse15578 hopefully that means a better curve for us!

@classof2017 I hope so! But if not, then that really sucks for us :frowning:

Will CB release scores percentile sir distributions. Something like that?

@MRzNOne They probably will

We will all find out in less than 48 hours.

@mathwizard786 ahh your making me nervous

Is it confirmed that CB is reaeasing a concordance table tomorrow? If so, does anyone know what time?

@premednyy Just like I tell my friends, don’t be nervous about your scores, embrace them as if you care enough to become nervous it means you worked hard. I know that everyone here will exceed there expectation and certainly meet their goals.
