Marine Option NROTC Scholarship

<p>I know this is specifically for Service Academy but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the issue.</p>

<p>So I have been waiting for a while to see if I was selected to receive an NROTC scholarship for the past 6 months (had my interview in January). I look on the Navy site and it just says:</p>

<p>"Your application is at the Marine Corps Recruiter Command Headquarters for final processing and selection determination. Selection decisions will begin in late August and continue until the end of April. Once a selection decision has been made, your new status will be reflected."</p>

<p>As you can probably guess, I haven't heard a word and as far as I know in the USA, it is May! So what do I do? I check the DoDMERB website and it says "Complete-Hold". What does that mean? Any advice?</p>

<p>thats pretty odd. although you interviewed pretty late IMO, you still should have found out about it by now for the upcoming year</p>
