are you applying as a freshman? Because most freshman that apply for business get put in the pre-business program anyways. That's really just undecided with an interest in becoming a business major.

Your stats are ok, but your GPA and SAT are lacking a little. You might have a better shot getting in if you applied as undecided, worked on your grades your first year, and then tried to get into the business major.

Kind of. Pre-business is the designation I would say 90% of the people who apply to business are placed into. What it is, is a year to get your GE's and math pre-req's out of the way and prove to the business school that you are capable of doing well at college-level work. And then, if you do well, you will generally be accepted as a business student.

What about the rest 10%, and when will I know this designation? So could you tell me exactly how the admissoins to the business school works.. thnx alot !

The rest are admitted to the business program as freshman. You will know when you get the acceptance folder, it will say what program you have been admitted to: business or pre-business. It's not bad to be admitted as pre-business, it just gives you a year to get your GE's and pre-req's out of the way. There isn't a different type of admissions process, it's just whether you start as a freshman and work your GEs in where you can or whether you get your GEs out of the way first and then complete the business requirements.

ohh i c thanks... i prefer to be admitted as business it just ensures that im in the business school because i really only want to study business .. if i get declared as pre business i dont want to take the risk of not getting into the business school...
