marshall

So, if I'm on the edge of getting in and I want to be in Marshall eventually, should I apply to the college of arts and sciences, then later transfer into Marshall?? Would it help my chance for admission? And how easy is it to transfer colleges within USC? Thanks!

If you do not get into your first choice major, USC automatically considers you for your second choice major, so feel free to list Marshall as your first choice.

Fairly easy to transfer. It used to be that you just filled out a form, but now you have to wait one semester. In that semester you have to take a pre-req like MicroEcon and get a B or better. Or something like that. I don't remember the details.

Marshall is still competitive to get into, but fortunately, they've decided to implement the Marshall curve, which prevents the school from becoming as selective as the Cinema program. They didn't get into the top 10 for no reason.
