Mary Maples Dunn Scholar

I got a letter today informing me that I was chosen as a Mary Maples Dunn Scholar...The letter tells me to register online for this event but no where is a link or anything?! I just checked all my emails and such and I've never gotten a registeration number, password, or anything like that...

Anyone else get this letter?

Want to clue me in on what I'm supposed to do?!? I'm excited, but so confused!

Hey, I got it as well. I believe there's a link or more information about registering in the pamphlet that came with the letter.

Two years ago my daughter also received the letter from Admissions offering her the Mary Maples Dunn scholarship. As far as I can remember, the letter arrived with a pamphlet about the Open Campus program for Accepted Students -- a very worthwhile event to attend if you have any questions about whether Smith will be your final choice. There was a special breakfast for potential Dunn scholars and their parents (which is why you need to identify yourself as a Dunn when you register). (And maybe some other perks that I can't remember.)

We were taken completely by surprise when the MMD offer arrived -- had no idea anything like that might be in the offing -- but I have to say it came as a very welcome relief to beleaguered parents who were ready but cringing at the thought of shelling out more than $43,000 for a year at Smith. It's also a very nice boost to the recipient's self- esteem. Hey, they not only accepted you, they actively want you!

Did you get an Open Campus pamphlet with your letter? It tells you how to register in there.

Oh - duh... I didn't see the last part of the pamphlet! Looks exciting!
