<p>i saw that no one had made a thread about this yet so i figured i should!
sure the decision doesn't come until late January, its still nice to know the rest of the applicant pool! If you have applied to Maryland (by the priority deadline date... which is EA for other schools) post your username, where you are from, and prospective major/school. We will keep a running list. Be sure to copy and paste the ones before you and then add your own! Also, if you'd like, post some of your stats! I will go first...</p>

<p>Depends on your stats… you’ll get some merit aid, but Maryland is known to be stingy on financial aid, esp. for OOS (heck, even for IS).</p>

<p>It’s tough for me to say because, going to a school in maryland, people always try to play it down as “the state school.” But it actually a very good school and is getting more and more competitive every year. I would say it is definitely one of the best state schools on the East Coast.</p>
