Maryland Priority Deadline Applicants!

<p>i saw that no one had made a thread about this yet so i figured i should!
sure the decision doesn't come until late January, its still nice to know the rest of the applicant pool! If you have applied to Maryland (by the priority deadline date... which is EA for other schools) post your username, where you are from, and prospective major/school. We will keep a running list. Be sure to copy and paste the ones before you and then add your own! Also, if you'd like, post some of your stats! I will go first...</p>

<p>UMD is pretty high up on my list; the suspense is killing me!</p>

<p>UMCP is my top choice school (UMBC is a close second!). </p>

There should a completely separate thread for acceptances or denials. That’s the way it works. </p>

<p>Depends on your stats… you’ll get some merit aid, but Maryland is known to be stingy on financial aid, esp. for OOS (heck, even for IS).</p>

<p>For certain financial reasons I pretty much must stay in state for undergrad at least. So UMD is my top choice with UMBC being my safety.</p>

<p>How well respected is Maryland’s business on the east coast because nobody knows anything about this school out here in cali?</p>

<p>It’s tough for me to say because, going to a school in maryland, people always try to play it down as “the state school.” But it actually a very good school and is getting more and more competitive every year. I would say it is definitely one of the best state schools on the East Coast.</p>
