Hello All,

I am international student who studied economics and finance during my undergraduate degree with few accounting classes. Yet, I am interested in studying accounting at master level (later becoming CPA) and I see that there are some universities such as USC, UNC which offer master in accounting without previous accounting knowledge. The question is if it is very hard to get scholarship for international students for such programs at these universities? Because tuition seems daunting.

Another option would be to complete prerequisite courses for universities which require some accounting classes in order apply for master in accounting. I am taking gap year and could use this year to complete prerequisites. Is it possible to do it online cheaply? Should I enroll at community college get student visa (is it possible?) and complete prerequisites there? If yes, which community college is cheap for international students?

Thank You in advance for Your help!
