Masters Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) in California

<p>I recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Sociology (GPA: 3.4?). I've always known that I wanted to help people, but I never knew how. After much deliberation, I am now looking into obtaining my Masters in Nursing. The thing is, I have no prior experience in this field. I have already signed up for the necessary prerequisites for the MEPN at UCSF at a local community college in preparation to apply next year, but I was wondering what other programs are out there for people like myself. I'd like to stay in Northern California (Bay Area), but I am flexible to other locations as well.</p>

<p>In addition, does anyone have any tips in getting into such programs? ...or just any tips for me in general?</p>

<p>UCLA has such a program as this. I don’t know much about it though, although I remember seeing threads about it on allnurses.com. Here’s the link to the program description </p>
