I got accepted in Masters School New York, and I wanted to know how I should dress there. What clothes should I start buying. I have gone to a public school my whole life and do not know what types of brands people wear in private schools. I am going there for ninth grade. Also I was thinking of buying vans chauffer, but I do not know what type of clothes people wear. I need help!

Congratulations! (are you excited?)
The Masters school has a dress code, it is posted somewhere on their web site. (I forgot where). The biggest thing is no blue jeans, they have special “jeans days” where you can pay a small amount of money to wear jeans and the money goes to the school’s community outreach. Boys have to wear collared shirts (turtlenecks are okay).
I do not know about brands though, I really don’t think that matters.

Masters is really artsy. I could see they would be big with the Free People stuff.
We play them in softball and the students–boys and girls-- actually came out to the games (which I thought was a miracle considering…softball).
Lots of flowy skirts on the girls. Cute, but not your typical starched tailored preppy look. At least not that I saw–definitely more “individual” looks and layering.
