Match me to a school!

I have a 3.77 GPA and a 30 ACT. I attend the 4th best high school in my state and take all honor classes along with one AP. I took one undergrad summer course at the University of Chicago last summer (grade: A) and am taking one again this year.

I have been on my school's tennis team for 3 years and in a school club for 3 years as well. I will be holding a leadership position in the club next year. I have also had two other leadership positions in my community. I have around 65 community service hours.

I have been taking Farsi langauge lessons for 4 years. I have also been taking private piano lessons and group music theory classes at a music school for 1 year.

I am non-Hispanic (middle-eastern).

I would prefer to attend a school on the smaller side and in the Mid-West.

If you want to be in a City, Macalaster could be interesting and it supposedly has an international flavor which might fit with your language study. I think it’s a bit on the hippy/funky side like Oberlin and you haven’t given a clue about whether that fits you. Carlton is going to be a reach but worth considering. Grinnell would be more possible. Also Kenyon. Take a look at some of the “vs.” threads because they can help you sort out the differences. (i.e. Grinnell vs. Macalaster etc.)

Thank you. I was actually considering Carleton and Oberlin!
