Match / Safety Schools with CS Major for rising senior

GA Tech is my top priority but would like to know some other options for match / safety schools.

Considering the following schools : UI UC, Purdue, UT Austin, U VA.

Do I stand any chance for MIT?

Please suggest any other colleges for CS with good merit scholarships full-ride scholarships.

State : GA
ACT 36
SAT Subj : 800 in Math, physics, French
GPA - not sure, in our school grades are given as % and I have 102+ weighted and 97 unweighted

Extracurricular:

FBLA National First in website design
Quiz bowl team - HIGH Q finalist in state NAQT 12th Nationally
Fencing - lettered for last 2 years
French - National 4th, state 1st

You have a decent shot at MIT. Your acceptance at GT is almost assured.

I would guess that you chances at MIT are no worse than the average percentage that is accepted. The issue is that this is less than 10%. I think that it is worth applying but definitely you need other options (and GA Tech is a great one).

I don’t know whether any of the non-Georgia public schools you listed give merit scholarships to out-of-state residents. And I assume MIT does not give merit scholarships. So if the financial aid is crucial, you need to look at different schools.

Thanks all! Heard about Clemson, is that good for CS major? Would UGA be a similar ranking as clemson? I cant find any ranking for UGA for CS…
