Math 110 or CS70 in Spring 2011

Run Down:

-EECS major, option IV, probably
-Currently in Math 54 and enjoying it a lot
-Never taken a statistics, probability, discrete mathematics course in my life
-Still need to take EE40, EE20

I need your guys help with my schedule. Next semester, I'm planning on taking

CS61C [for sure]
EE20 or EE40 [one or the other]
CS70 or Math 110 [one or the other]
Ethnic Studies 180 [for sure, haha]

I really want to take math 110 because I really like Math 54 right now and I might pick up a math minor if I'm doing alright in the upper division classes. Whichever class I don't taken, CS70 or Math 110, I'm going to take during the summer since I need to average out to 30 units every calendar year, and I'm taking only 12 units right now.

Sparknotes: CS70 or Math 110? Which is harder with my projected schedule?

I was planning on taking

CS61C
EE20
CS70
and a H/SS requirement

and I was planning on taking 110 in the summer, lol. I’m taking 70 first because I want to take a more proof heavy course before taking upper divs.

I just looked at the schedule, and 110 is 8am and CS70 is at 10am, good enough reason for me to wait until summer.

The 110 teacher is supposed to be really good though. But that’s what they said about Holtz. Thanks, any other opinions?

I’m not sure the difference between Math 55 and CS 70 but they highly recommend taking 55 before taking 110.
