I've heard the material that Math 2 SAT tests is pretty much the same as on an AP test. I'm currently taking IB Math SL and we haven't covered calculus yet. Compared to IB questions, how hard is Math 2?

I don't know about IB, but Math 2 does not have calculus at all. It's nothing like the AP Calculus test. It's a test of precalc, really.

Math II is pretty straightforward.
if you know the formula, you can do the question.

i'm in hl math, and math II was a joke. theres only a couple things to study, namely conics, and you should be fine

I'm in HL and like the above poster said, it was a joke. Matrixes and conics were all. For an SL kid, I'd bet it'd be a bit tougher than it was for me, but if my memory serves me correctly there wasn't TOO much calc on the SATII, but don't quote me. This was June of 2007.

Buy a practice book. If you don't want to invest the money, just go to a book store and look through the practice tests to get an idea.
