Math 20A, is it worth it?

<p>It says it is a honor class online, is it a lot harder than math 19A?</p>

<p>I doubt it’s even being offered. Last year it was canceled. It’s not even clear what benefits it offers.</p>

<p>If it gets canceled, what happens to the students that are currently enrolled? Should I enroll in 19A as a backup?</p>

<p>If you can, do so. Last year it got canceled last minute. Budget issues probably. >_<</p>

<p>You realize that if you have the prerequisite for 20A through AP or IB you can go into 19B rather than 19A. “AP Calculus AB exam score of 4 or 5, or BC exam score of 3 or higher, or IB Mathematics Higher Level exam score of 5 of higher”. The other way is to get a 46 or more on the math placement test, which would put you in 19A? Doesn’t look like you can skip 19A through a high placement test.</p>
