I got into both math classes and I took calculus AB in high school (I failed the AP test though) and I don’t know which class to take. I’m currently undecided and so I know if I take 21a I will have more options open to me than if I take 16a. How much harder is 21a over 16a? What’s the difference?

well that would probably depend on your major/what majors you’re considering. if you want to go into math, stats, engineering etc. then take 21 for sure. majors in the college of bio sci require 17. and if you’re looking at econ (and i don’t know what else - i’m in econ) then 16 will do fine, unless you’re considering grad school in it, in which case you should probably take 21.

16a and 21a is same. If I were you I would take 16a because you really don’t want to compete with lots of engineering majors & 21a is focused around engineering/math department. 16a covers majority of the majors (besides bio. which is 17).

Study up on some calc before school starts ! I haven’t done any math in a while! and so I’m taking math courses in winter.
