math 32a first lecture

Hey guys, I had math 3c today, but I don't really think probability is for me........I just wanted to know how the math 32a lecture with rogawski went, difficulty n all that

32A isn’t too difficult. Most of the difficult stuff is in 32B.

^wait, how would you know if you’re a first year?

I live close by, took 32A in the summer. In the lecture yesterday for 32B Chayes went on at length about how much harder the class is than 32A.

ahh, i see, cool. did you have rogawski too? i hope he’s a good prof. =D

I had Park, so that probably made it somewhat easier, but the material itself isn’t that tough. A lot of what you learn is similar to single-variable, and the toughest things (chain rule and lagrange multipliers, I guess) are more difficult because they’re lengthy processes, not because they’re complex concepts.
